A little bit of information:

There have been some inquiries regarding specific things about this class. Let me just share a small glimpse of what we will be doing. A lot of the details will be covered that first night. See the post below for the class schedule.

Question: Is it really free?
Answer: Yes, it really is. You won't be paying me a thing for my service, and you'll find out why at the first class.

Question: Can my husband come with me?
Answer: Yes, this is for anyone who wants to join

Question: Can I bring my kids?
Answer: Only if they are part of the class and able to be accountable for their food choices and weight loss progress. This class will benefit the entire family.

Question: Where is it at?
Answer: It will be at my home. (address will be given to you when you call or email me). Think of it as just a bunch of friends and family getting together for an hour and sharing a common goal together.

Question: What exactly is your class?
Answer: Along with motivational lectures on health, eating habits, and life style changes, we will be able to have cooking demonstrations, keep track of progress, help each other reach our goals, ect. The first class will cover in depth all that you can expect to get from the class.

Question: How long is the class?
Answer: There will be two classes available, one in the am and one in the pm, and it will be a continuing class- I'll be here as long as you need to come. It took me three years to reach my goal of loosing 100 pounds, and so it's a long hard process and the more support you have, the better you'll do. That's what this is all about. We're all in this together, in a personal comfortable way.

Question: Are you going weigh me and stuff?
Answer: Only if you want me to. This class will not focus on a number on the scale. I want your focus to be on making small changes over time and setting small realistic goals. We will be working toward one specific goal (your personal goal) every six weeks. For example, you might set a goal to excersise 10 min. a day for six weeks. Someone else might set the goal of not eating any donuts or soda pop for six weeks. The weight will naturally come off when you are enjoying healthier habits and setting small goals. There will be a very nice incentive program for you to encourage you to keep at it. Of course, you will have weekly lessons and helpful lectures to help you through another week. I will discuss the program in full detail the first night. (Sept. 8) see the below post for times and schedules. We will be taking a before photo, (a nice one, my daughter is professional photographer) and we will also take an after photo when that time comes.

Question: What do I need to bring to your class?
Answer: you don't have to bring anything the first class. After that I will let you know what would be helpful to bring for future classes.

  1. I just wanted to write a quick note and tell anyone who reads this that my mom is going to make this a really neat class. I am going for two reasons: 1 I need help loosing my weight.
    2. I love seeing my mom shine as a teacher and leader. She's fun, encouraging, entertaining, ect. She's an incredibly paitent, loving , forgiving, and inpsiring person. I hope you come and have the chance to know her the way I do. (well, not as well as I do of course, since she's my mom and I wouldn't want that kind of competition!)
